The
parish council is a group of twelve individuals whom have
been nominated by one or more parish members and have
agreed to voluntarily serve a three year term if selected.
Members of the council are selected by a random drawing of
names after congregation prayer and petition for guidance
from the Holy Spirit.
Council members also
act as a liaison between established parish ministries and
other groups to foster better communication and
understanding.
Council members
discuss and give direction to our faith community and work
on the establishment and review of budgets and plans for
the future of our congregation.
Most importantly
however is that council members strive to be extra eyes
and ears for our Pastor by seeking the input of members of
the parish about how we may improve or consider additional
services or direct resources to better serve our faith
communities needs.
Members of the
council WELCOME your comments and suggestions.
Please feel free to contact any or all of the members by
email. phone or personal approach.
