ST. MM WOMEN’S GROUP STUDY

“Wisdom is seeing with God’s eyes.” – Pope Francis

Ever wonder how to apply Scripture to the everyday practical living of life?  In everything from friendships to finances, from making decisions to attaining peace of mind, Scripture offers a vision for happiness and well-being. With this program, you will learn how to grow in wisdom, experiencing the joy it brings to your life.  Drawing on the wisdom literature of the Bible—Proverbs, Wisdom, Sirach, and Ecclesiastes—Wisdom: God’s Vision for Life will teach you how to actively seek sound guidance and increase your sense of peace in navigating life.  You will not only benefit personally from being part of this study; you will also help our parish to grow in fellowship together in Christ!

This is an 8-week, in-person study with videos by Jeff Cavins and others followed by discussion. We will meet every other Monday from 7-8:30pm beginning Sept. 13.  The cost of the program is $20.  Journals will be ordered together to reduce shipping, so please register by Sept. 1 by contacting Bernie Tucker at rodzina.first@gmail.com or 734-740-0516.

MORNING BIBLE STUDY FOR MEN AND WOMEN

Many people want to read the Bible because they know it is God’s Word, but they give up because it seems so complicated. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible, an eight-part Bible study, helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture so you can to get the “big picture” of the Bible by showing how fourteen narrative books of the Bible tell the complete story from Adam and Eve to Christ and the Church. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible will help you pick up the Bible with confidence and understand how you fit into God’s plan.

Beginning Sept. 28 and running through Nov. 16, these classes will be facilitated by Kris Weber on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-12:00 in the East Room. Participants will meet every week to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. The cost of the program is $30. The books will be ordered together to reduce shipping, so please register by Sept. 13. Contact Erin Wolfe at ewolfe@saintmarymagdalen.org for more information.
