Adult Formation
The Adult Formation Ministry Team looks for ways to develop faith formation for our adults. They plan and coordinate educational opportunities including Bible studies, faith sharing groups, Pints & Ponderings with Fr. Paul, and much more. They also help provide resources and materials for the parish during Lent and Advent.
Find & Invite
This team is committed to furthering our evangelization efforts. As the name of this team suggests, we don't content ourselves to wait for those in need of the Gospel to come to us - we go out to find and invite them! This includes: using our website and social media channels to share the Gospel; planning events dedicated to this mission; conducting trainings, seminars, and retreats to equip others to evangelize; and much more.
Charity & Justice
This team plans and coordinates our parish’s effort to reach those in immediate need by providing assistance and working toward building a more just society. Major social teachings of our Catholic faith are promoted through parish education, prayer, and by joining our greater community in events that promote and provide justice.
Liturgical Life (formerly Worship)
Bringing together our Liturgical ministries, pastoral musicians and members of the Art & Environment team, the Liturgical Life Team (formerly Worship) plans and coordinates the Liturgical celebrations of our parish. They also strive to enrich our people's understanding of the Mass.
Communication
This team is responsible for ensuring that parishioners are kept informed of parish events through a variety of digital and print means. This team also discusses how to make sure that our parish's online presence is welcoming to potential visitors and that there are easy ways for those who are not already a part of our community to get involved.
Parish Wellness
This is a ministry team of health care professionals and other caring, service-oriented people whose concern is the care and well-being of our parishioners. They coordinate volunteer services to those in need (food, transportation, light housework, etc.). They also share their knowledge with the community through a variety of informational and service programs geared to our better health.
Community Life
The Community Life Team is committed to enhancing the social and communal life of the parish through an assortment of gatherings throughout the year.
We are the party planners!
Join us for fun and fellowship.
Youth Ministry Council
The St. Mary Magdalen Youth Ministry Council is a group of parishioners who meet quarterly to discuss how to ensure that our parish is radically welcoming to the youth of our community. Rather than being tied to any one program, this council and its members look at the question of youth ministry from a big picture perspective.
